    1. An ice machine in any eatery is grounds for mold and bacteria.

  2. Yes, I can believe it. We have access to all the restaurant inspection reports online in our city and in most it says that the ice machine is not up to standard.

    1. Very cool that the reports are online. And they should be. It's not difficult to keep ice makers and pop machines, clean. But it easy for them to ignore it.

Since getting sick, I no longer drink water from pop machines. It's too gross. So I bring my own.

    2. We rarely go out for a meal because the inspection reports are disgusting, I remember one report where there was no soap and paper towels in the employee bathroom.

  3. I had to clean out (with Clorox) twice a week at the old convenience store... Thou the other store and Many restaurants only clean theirs may once a month ( many use nearly No cleaners... (so, they do not have to do additional cleaning to remove the residue of the
chemicals... so mostly due to "lazy employees"... sad but true... and that is one of the things that the Health Inspector checks for...

  4. I believe it. That's one of the many reasons why I don't eat fast food.

    1. It's not just fast food. ANY ice maker or pop machine can be a problem.

  8. I'll believe this when that kid makes ice cubes out of toilet water and is willing to drink a whole soda.
