Cakes and Meatballs

In my skillet is a salmon cake. Once done, I'll adjust the seasoning, make more cakes PLUS meatballs. Ingredients are expensive so I do multiple experiments at once. Though to be fair, I do this with less expensive ingredients as well because it's fun.

In other news, I've got lots of cleaning to do. Now that the bedroom is back together, blankets need washed and the leftover books, papers and whatnot need a home. I keep telling myself that I enjoy puzzles but this feels more like a pile of, I dunno where to start? So for now, I'm off to sample my salmon cake and make meatballs.

Have a Yummy Day.

  3. I haven't had a salmon cake in a long while. I have a stack of puzzles that I want to work on but I never seem to find the time.

    1. I enjoy the digital puzzles on the android tablet. Nice big screen, no clean up when I'm done.

      Have you played those?

    1. They are shaped like little cakes, sorta like a griddle cake. Thicker and more hearty than a flapjack/pancake.

  6. I love fish ...cooked any way ... just delicious.
Cleaning, washing, dusting, shopping ... all to be done, one thing at a time.

    Take Care

    All the best Jan

    1. Next time I make these, I'll send you a short video. They were fun to make. Your Monday post didn't show in my reader. Headed over to your place in 3,2, I...

    1. Kinda like a combo of griddle cake and a crab cake. I used tin salmon for these.

    1. Kinda like a combo between a griddle cake and a crab cake. Did you see the comment a few posts back about the dragon fruit? Someday I'll get to try one.

  10. That salmon cake sounds great. Hubby and I both love salmon. It's so good for you too! When things get too overwhelming just take it one step at a time. That's what I do. I did my winter summer switch out last weekend. I gave away so many clothes to the church... I kept getting frustrated with all the clothes that were covering my bed and just said the heck with it... Someone else needs these things more than me. It was however very exhausting! Glad I'm done with that I tell you :-)

    1. If I'm honest, I was just being lazy and really wanted to play and bake and not sort and toss.

Cool beans on the winter summer switch, we did that a few weeks back too. Love that you donated what you weren't using.
